Question 1 :
Are all picture thinkers dyslexic?

Answer :
Some people who are not dyslexic also have the skill and ability to think in pictures. Not all picture thinking is accompanied by disorientation of the senses and perceptions. However, what causes dyslexia symptoms are the confusions that result from a lack of pictures for certain symbols and words. The confusion triggers disorientation. Thus, picture thinkers are more likely to be confused by words, numbers or other symbols, and they are more likely to experience disorientation and dyslexia symptoms.

Most dyslexics primarily think in pictures, and a have hard time thinking with words. So when reading, a dyslexic person needs to be able to picture the meaning of the words in order to understand them.

A non-dyslexic person is capable of simply seeing the letters of the words or hearing the sound of the word in it, even if they have no picture in mind.
